These lovely hearty birds bring joy to any flock. The Orpingtons are large friendly birds that lay a tan egg with a hint of peach. They have even temperaments and will happily brood babies if that is your choice, or collect eggs daily.
This year we are running both Crele and Isabel cockbirds over Isabel and one Crele hen. We continue to work on tightening up the cuckoo color in our females by maintaining a crele rooster as it has been a few generation and the color is diluting. To maintain SOP breeding you will need both Crele and Isabel colored birds. Eggs purchased will give you Crele, Isabel and splits.
